My name is Steingrimur Kristinsson. I am born on February 21. 1934. I work as a store attendant at SR-Mjol HF in Siglufjordur, a factory produsing Fishmeal and Fishoil from Herring and Capelin.
Following are few of the main particulars conserning my homepage, for those not reading the Icelandic language, but are reading English.
My homepage - " Ljósmyndasafn Steingríms. " - ( Photomuseum Steingrims. ) is my personal homepage becouse of my interest in photographs, both new as well as old ones with the oldest ones dating from 1930 and few from older dates.
I myself take a lot of photographs and I have also collected photographs by other authors, that is I have gained possession of the original negatives from older photographers and bought the Royalty rights and have also been given few of the Royalty rights.
On my webpages, most of the photographs are taken in or near my hometown Siglufjordur, a coastal town placed in the middle of North Iceland. (ISLAND)

The photographs are of ships, fishing boats, people at work, portraits of people that have lived and worked at Siglufjordur, for example working with preparation and salting the Herring etc., which my district was famously known for in former times, also a variety of photographs showing Siglufjordur and the neighbourhood surroundings.
